GLASS THERMOSIPHON

The main body of the thermosiphon is made of 2.5mm thick steel sheet, while the jacket is made of 1.5mm thick steel sheet. Double coating of liquid enamel, which is baked at a temperature above 850°C. The enameling process is performed in our own facilities, ensuring the best quality and maximum lifespan.
Magnesium rod for protecting the tank from galvanic electrolysis, which is internally screwed onto the resistance flange. The connections of the thermosiphon are ½” male brass threads.
High-density expanded polyurethane foam (44kg/m3) with a thickness of 50mm and thermal conductivity of 0.0120 W/mk. It ensures hot water availability even on the following morning.
Standard pre-painted Aluzinc in grey RAL9006 color, with specially designed snap-on side covers. It is also available in terracotta upon request.
Metallic flange with a diameter of 140mm, an 8-hole snap-on connection without welding, and a copper resistance with a metallic flange of 3.5kW. A 4-contact monopolar thermostat with bipolar protection and backup safety.
In the case of a dual-energy tank, there is a spiral-type heat exchanger inside the tank with a 1” male brass thread. The connection of the heat exchanger to the central heating system is recommended to be automated, achieved by connecting a special sensor in a position (bucket) located next to the thermostat position.

3 BAR closed circuit safety valve. 8 BAR non-return water inlet safety valve. ½” female brass plug for the closed circuit. Plastic pipe 18×2.5 and 22×3.0 for connection with collectors and insulation with a special cover to protect against UV radiation. 1-liter propylene glycol antifreeze in a ratio of 1:10 to prevent freezing.

PHAETHON COLLECTOR

Hydroskeleton is made of copper pipes Φ8 and Φ22mm with 4 outlets. Mirotherm Control absorber sheet, which ensures very high annual solar energy absorption above 96% and high resistance to corrosion due to moisture. The new product consists of a 4-layer package with a specially processed base. It is applied using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology in a coil-to-coil production line. The solar radiation absorption surface is perfectly applied to the copper hydroskeleton through welding by automatic LASER machines, allowing direct heat transfer to the thermal fluid.

MORE

Made of heavy-duty oval aluminum profiles, 1.4mm thick, with high aesthetics and advanced design. It has internal angular screw-type aluminum connectors that ensure excellent fit and sealing of the frame sections, as well as great stability of the collector. The back of the frame is made of 5mm aluminum sheet, applied with a special automatic mechanical clinching machine, ensuring sealing and robustness.
It is a 3.2mm thick tempered low-iron glass. The low iron content provides the advantage of low reflection, resulting in higher absorption. Additionally, it is safety glass that can withstand hail and falling objects. On top of the glass, a special aluminum profile is applied as a fastening element, along with the additional application of a special EPDM rubber, making it fully sealed and extremely robust.
Glass wool with a density of d=30kg/m3, which is placed on the back of the collector and the side aluminum frame. It achieves the minimum possible thermal loss. Furthermore, the specially designed elastic gasket for the application at the copper pipe outlets prevents the formation of a thermal bridge between the frame and the hydroskeleton, while also absorbing contractions and expansions due to temperature changes.

ATLAS COLLECTOR

Selective surface made of 4mm thick aluminum sheet with a titanium oxide coating. The coating process is carried out in vacuum in Germany. The solar radiation absorption surface is perfectly applied to the copper hydro-skeleton through welding using automatic LASER machines for direct heat transfer to the thermal fluid. Its properties ensure maximum thermal performance of the collector, achieving an absorptivity coefficient of a>95% and an emissivity coefficient of e<5%.
Made of high-quality, aesthetic 0.8mm thick aluminum profiles with external angular connections that ensure excellent fit and sealing of the frame components, as well as high stability of the collector. The frame back is made of 5mm aluminum sheet, applied with a special automatic mechanical clinching machine to ensure tightness and robustness.
It is a 3.2mm thick tempered low-iron glass. The low iron content advantageously results in low reflection, leading to higher absorption. Additionally, it is a safety glass that can withstand hail and object impacts.
Density of 30kg/m3 glass wool is placed on the back of the collector. This achieves minimal thermal loss. Furthermore, a specially designed elastic pad for application at the copper pipe outlets prevents the creation of a thermal bridge between the frame and the hydro-skeleton while also absorbing contractions and expansions due to temperature changes.

SUPPORT BASE

A unique mechanical design of a terrace support base that allows for easy transportation, assembly, and installation of the solar system. It is processed using a LASER machine, resulting in smooth edges that do not cause injury. The solar system support has been tested to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. For assembly instructions, refer to the video link provided.

A unique mechanical design of a tile roof support base that allows easy assembly and installation of the solar system. It is processed using a LASER machine, resulting in smooth edges that do not cause injury. The solar system support has been tested to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. Please pay attention to the installation for the appropriate orientation depending on the country (e.g., the suitable orientation for Greece is south). Additionally, the buyer should consider the system’s inclination, which is recommended to be at least 30% or up to 40%. For assembly instructions, refer to the video link provided.

The packaging of the solar system support base includes all the screws required for its assembly and the components necessary for connecting the pipes that join the tank with the collector.
